he Ranger’s Apprentice book 10

The Ranger’s Apprentice book 10: The Emperor of Nihon-Ja was a great book that ends the Ranger’s Apprentice series. This book, unlike the majority of the ranger's apprentice series books, is a stand-alone novel, as opposed to a two-book adventure. It doesn't end the series correctly, in my opinion, but I am a fan of the series and do not want the series to end in the first place, so that may just be bias.

The Emperor of Nihon-ja, while being an ending to the Ranger’s Apprentice series, is a great book in its own right. The book’s main characters, Will and Halt, return from the previous adventures and are immediately faced with new challenges in Nihon-Ja, a Japanese-like country ruled by the elitist samurai warriors. The two Rangers are later joined by their companions, Evalyn, Horace, and Alyss. Together the band helps fight off an invasion, and help save Nihon-Ja and it’s rightful emperor Shigui. This book is an outstanding book by John Flanagan and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys action and adventure books.
